Post by Guest Tue Jun 01 2010, 08:41

Spent a lovely day at me Mum and her partners. We got talking about spiders. Now I'm not sure how you guys feel about them. I can deal with them but I always use the glass & postcard method. I remember once at a place I was living the shed was infested with them. Went in there to deal with them and one, a big ole beasty, ran up my arm and I screamed like a girl pmsl. Shook me arm like I had the DT's and shouted "Get it off me, get it off me" lol. So after our day of discussion and what have you I've come home and done some investigation. 12 British species can bite you ffs. YUCKY or what lol. So anyway while doing my research I came across this video. This beast I would struggle to deal with. Pint glass for her me thinks. As an end to this arachnid thread I must mention that we have seen 3 bigguns in the house this evening. I suppose talking about 'em makes you look for 'em and therefore spot 'em. Anyway view the video if you don't mind them otherwise don't lol. Made me go "f*** that thats huge, too f***in' huge" lol . . . . . .

They won't hurt you Lee. They do an awful lot of good mate. They get rid of flies, cockroaches, ants and all sorts that come into your house. i never throw them out. They just find their way back in again anyway. There is a phrase that says. "If you want to live and thrive, let the spider run alive.
