West Bromwich boss Hodgson eyes Championship duo Taarabt and Zaha
West Bromwich are showing interest in Queens Park Rangers forward Adel Taarabt and Crystal Palace starlet Wilfred Zaha.
Albion manager Roy Hodgson made a personal check on the Championship duo in Rangers's 2-1 win over Palace at Loftus Road on Saturday.
Taarabt has been key to QPR's promotion drive while Zaha has been a bright spark for Palace in an otherwise disappointing season.
However, Rangers manager Neil Warnock is determined to keep hold of Taarabt, who is likely to be play a key role next season if the west London club win promotion.
Newcastle are also keen on Taarabt - while the player himself has claimed Manchester United are interested.
Striker Zaha, 18, is rated as one of the best prospects in the Championship and has been watched several times by Hodgson's former club Liverpool.
The pair could cost a combined total of around £8million.
