The acid test is going to be how Woody holds up in the first few 'competitive' games of the Prem. He spent an awful lot of time on our Physio bench, and time with specialists at our expense. I'm sure that we know better than anyone just how fit for action his groin is.

And if it was fully mended I'm sure he'd be in a Spurs shirt too.


I'll believe we've cocked up when Woody has racked up over 20 games this season himself.

Wrong. At his best, Dawson is in that rung just below World Class. Average at best would be applied to CH's like Upson, Vermailen or just about anyone who's played in a goon shirt since Adams left. On his day, Dawson is a stand out defenderof the old school variety. He's not cultured but he gets the job done far more often than not.

Woodgate, King and Vidic are all better than Dawson? Well f*ck me, two of them are amongst the best seen in the last 20 years. King being up there with the best that ever played in English Football, not just the Prem.
Vidic is one of the best in Europe and that is it. Samba and Kompany are only on a par with Dawson, Vermailen ............. You're on f*cking drugs boy. He's as bobbins as they come. To even suggest that any player, that is part of that puff pastry goon defence, is better than Dawson just highlights your inability to judge the worth of any player.

Not true Lought, ion and I have had words in the past as he will testify I'm sure. As for in the know if you took the time to go on the SC website you will see a stcky at the top that basically says the people saying they are in the know maybe wrong. From the ITK forum itself. Always take your ITK with a pinch of salt. I am pretty sure when ion started posting his ITK posts he mentioned that a lot of it was only what they were saying and whether it actually happens is open to question. Or words to that effect. I am sure ion can speak for himself anyway.

We have had words in the past Baz, they've always remained civil though.


I've never claimed to be in the know ever either Lought, which is why I post the vast majority of what I've read on the 'Transfer Bollox' thread.
