Gutted. How unlucky was that, 2 goals in a minute, absolutely gutted, threw that one away.

looked totally in control then panic sets in , in the last 5 mins if they come anywhere near our goal. all through the match we can pass it out confidently from defence up until 5 mins before the end then its just hoofing it away anywhere usually ending up with one of their players ready for another wave of attack. dont know why im suprised, its happened so many times before it was inevitable. sort the defence out avb and we might get somewhere. gallas is a fuckin liability now and dont give off any confidence to our younger defenders.

Agreed that Gallas is a liability butwith Kaboul, Dawson Ekotto all injured, there's not a lot of choice. We just needed to keep possession but we just lump it.

caulker got so many shouts to leave the ball and panics., results in goal
then galas leaves the ball goal.

why are our players so scared of the ball
falque did a great one 2 with ade and ade the lazy fuckin just stands still

we lost to an awfull team

Fine margins Lought, Caulker should have faith in Lloris, he catches the ball, takes and few seconds to either roll it out or boot it down in the corner and the games won and let's face it the guys overhead kick could have gone anywhere, but as luck would have it for them, it falls perfectly to Jalavic.

The problem as I see it is, what did he scream?

When I used to play, even in a kick about , the goalie in that situation would shout , keepers .

All I heard is a scream , similar to the one against West Ham , I didn't here Keepers or any clear word.

We need to sort this .

Also, we looked comfortable, except when we had throw-ins that is! One thing very noticeable is our aversion to the short throw-in . It's always long down the line and nearly always results in a loss of possession by us . Cant believe this has not been rectified as it's been going on for some time now.

to be honest why did abv take of defoe dembelle and lennon. ade was useless. lennon spent the whole game defending. sterling looks better then him.

    ratings.
lloris 6. thought he should of done better for the first.
    walker 8 better defensivley
galas 6. stupid error for the 2nd
caulker7 great game but again make a mistake when he got the shout he panicked.
vert. 6 hes no left back.
lennon5 for hes work rate but offerd nothing as an attacking thread.
demebele 8 best player on the pitch
sandro.7 worked hard but he dont talk enough
    ade4 was woefull
    defoe 7 tried really hard
    dempsey 7 worked hard
abv should of brought ade and dempsey off as they both looked on there feet

Too much time off mate, brains gone to mush if that's possible.

Caulkers young, he will iron out these little problems, but Im happy with the way Lloris comes off his line , the save at feet of Jelavic was superb and let's face it how lucky was the Greek guy with the overhead kick, could have gone anywhere, Jelavic was alive to anything, Gallas wasn't, soon Gallas won't be playing, gives me kittens every time he plays.

Right I was so frustrated after the match that I ditched the internet down and refrained from posting as I was sulking worse then a spoilt kid at Christmas who didn't get the present they wanted lol. I thought we were unlucky yesterday. We, IMO, were the better team and 2 soft, late goals undone us. Lil bit like early season? I agree with Shears post match comment about the soft underbelly still being visible at times but hey ho that is something AVB has to work on. As for the subs, so screamingly argued about elsewhere, they again to me were sensible. If Siggys shot was 3 inches lower it's 2-0 us and 4th is cemented going into Xmas. Ifs, buts and maybes eh?
Anyways going into Cripmo the match threads will be posted up en masse as there are other things I do have to attend to ha ha. So bump the threads up peeps as required.
All told things ain't so bad. It's tight at the top and we are running nicely with the pack, a result off either 3rd place or 10th and we are still a step ahead of the unmentionables.

    COYS . . . . . . .
