well deserved win today, all put in a good shift imo. they never really troubled us and were trying to catch us on the break. to be honest it should have been 3 or 4 with more clinical finishing, cos defoe first then townsend both had good 1 on 1 chances with their keeper but blew it. sorry to say the atmosphere was very quiet untill we scored, swansea were singing this is a lbrary at one point and their end was half empty.graham roberts was there at half time chatting,he got a great reception. anyway 3 more points. coys.

Wasn't quiet on the TV Shear, far from it. Even Pleaty commented on how the fans were really up for the game at one point.

I actually felt that the atmosphere was far more reminiscent of 10 years ago with a lot of the Park Lane, Shelf side banter coming through very loud.
I was wondering if the 1882 movement actually had a hand in this.

Just watched the game again Shear and I take it all back.

There were times when we got very vocal but, on the whole, you were right, it was very quiet.

Funny how, in the heat of a live game, you remember only the bits that stick out. I even thought the 'vibrant atmosphere' remark was a bit odd after seeing it all again.
