cant fault anyones performance yesterday, but use the squad and give others a start. dawson in for gallas, parker start for sandro, siggy start for dembele (looked like he was limping a bit when changed). mix it up a bit.

Can't Avb benching Bale Loughtan , maybe against Reading at home but not away at Sunderland.

I think we will go again with the team that beat Villa unless, Dembele is unfit . Apparently he's tweeted and up for the game so we'll see.

Another team in stripes intent in slowing the game to a standstill hoping for a dead ball to nick a goal, are Sunderland actually at home?

Bring on Siggy for Ade, Ade is way too lazy, he needs a kick up the a*se, we've been all over them, just not good enough movement upfront by defoe nor ade.

    dembelle 7 decent game
bale 7 tried but wernt hes day and unlucky to not get a pen
lennon8 great goal and worked hard

    defoe 6 decent game

subs dempsey looked good when he came on

i thought bales "dive" was a bloody penalty as well, he got kneed by the other player. trouble is hes a marked man now with refs , he wont get any 50-50 decisions his way now.yes it looked like defoe dived unfortunately. 3 points though im happy . enjoy the weekend early now watchin all the other results without having to keep one eye on us.

Thought it was a pen as well, Bale is obviously a marked man for refs now.
Seriously concerned about Walkers form just doesn't look the same player as last season and Adebayor missed two sitters and as has been said, needs a wake up call. Otherwise another good 3 points

Good point about Defoe's dive, Shear. That one I'd have accepted a yellow but Bale's was silly . I think Bale has to cut out the theatrics when he gets tripped or pushed , three bookings for alleged simulation is no good for us.

Good win today , another fairly dominant performance which seems to be our style under AVB . 18 attempts at the SOL is pretty good considering Sunderland came into this game high on confidence , in fact we should really have scored a couple more ..

Hope HotspurRoper up there is a happy chappy.

Got in just in time to see the after match analysis on Sky. From what was said and clips shown looked like a good win. Lennons goal was sublimely taken. Bale booked for diving? Bad mistake from the Ref. Stonewall penalty. Hey ho up to 3rd for now and another 3 points banked. COYS . . . . .

Can't make my mind up about the Bale dive but Defoe definitely dived.Good win for us. Not an easy place to go. AVB continues to do a good job.

AVB making good use of the squad, unlike Harry. Now we have a fresh Verts, Sigg, Dempsey, Parker can give Sandro a rest and we still have Benny and Kaboul to come back, happy days!!

When will a ref have the gonads to actually give a pen or free kick to Bale? Atkinson was nowhere near the incident, but gave a booking because of who it was.

Be interesting to see who plays against Reading now that both Bale and Defoe are out. Can't see AVB wanting to rely on Ade
