    Vertongen Empty Vertongen

So many reports in the last week that he's leaving in the summer it makes you think there's a lot of truth in it. He has been quoted as saying if Spurs don't make CL he will go.

To be honest the way he's played in the last few weeks it wouldn't worry me if he did leave as he hasn't seemed to give a shit since it looked like we were not going to make top 4. We don't need players that don't wont to play for us. Paulinio is another that's not been puting in a shift and looks likely to leave I just hope we get what we paid for them and others that are likely to leave, either by choice or by the club. We can then hopefully buy some decent players providing Baldini is not the one to do the buying.

I think we will see a very different starting eleven come August and with a top manager could turn this horrible season to distant memory and start next with hope for the future.

But then we do that every season don't we?

Surely he can't say it's all about Champions League, the man came from Ajax who get in it every year. Must be something else.
But yes his attitude has been deplorable of late culminating in what many consider to be a non injury at Liverpool. He almost forgot to limp when he went off!

I don't think I have seen anyone at this club for years show how much they are pissed off with being here it is so obvious.

I think Big V's attitude of late is down to the AVB sacking but the way he is playing lately he would be lucky to get a game for Gillingham . . . . .

Is he any different to Lloris?. He has stated he want's to leave because we did not get into the Champions League, yes he still gives his all but that is not much of a comfort to us knowing that the club will have to search for another keeper, and in all honesty where are we going to get a keeper in the same class as Lloris?. Looks like Brad could be playing on until he reaches 50, or perhaps we could give Gomes another try. Sick of players joining this club and using the same old excuse, I want to play in the Champions League, in order to force a move.

I went fond of looris gung ho style coming out style.

not sure sweeper keeper works in prem.

I think we can replace him.

vertoghen we need get the right money if we do sell him.

get a vidic type player add some steel to our woeful defence.
