    Good news on Pav.

After the recent awful run of injuries we've endured, we are last have some better news..

Our Russian hitman expects to be available for selection against Portsmouth next Saturday.

After asking to come off against Stoke, it seemed our injury ranks was set to swell further. Roman revealed he`d feared at the time it was a hamsting tear in his left leg.

But the result of the scans on Sunday has shown that there is no serious damage and after few days rest he`ll be back to resume his goal scoring feats.

Following the test results, he has been ruled out of the FA cup tie against Fulham, but the club Doctor has cleared him to resume training on Tuesday.

Roman said: " In fact, I had a muscle spasm after which you just have to rest for two to three days to avoid anything worse. " he went on to say "I will miss the FA cup game on Wednesday, but I should be ready for Portsmouth.
