According to the Daily Mirror, Everton boss David Moyes has lost patience with Steven Pienaar and is ready to offer the South African in part exchange for Tottenham Hotspur forward Peter Crouch.

The 28-year-old midfielder has been embroiled in lengthy contract negotiations for all of the summer, and although he has professed of a desire to remain at Goodison Park, the two parties are no nearer a deal and with just 12-months to run on his current contract the club are running out of time to secure their playmaker.
Moyes is considering offering Pienaar to Tottenham Hotspur in a bid to lure Peter Crouch to the club, and the Daily Mirror suggest Harry Redknapp could be tempted in to the deal having coveted Pienaar throughout the close season.
Although keen to retain Crouch, the towering forward continues to be linked with a move away from White Hart Lane, not least because Spurs are rumoured to be closing in on a £15 million deal for Sevilla forward Luis Fabiano if they can successfully overcome Young Boys and therefore guarantee their safe passage to the Champions League group stage.
