As I have no doubt bored you to death with previously I am old schooll my friend, started in 64 when were were not a great side and trophies wee far, far away - years since we had even challenged for them - I am therefore perfectly happy with the football we play and the success we have had over the past five years. If we go another 50 years - incredible though that amount of time sounds Lew - before we win another title - I will still be delighted.
(not least because I will be 102 years old )
You forget nic that i have seen the sixties team, although it wasnt as it was in 1961, i have seen the chivers, gilzean, hoddle and gascoigne years, i am happy that i have seen that period in spurs history as a boy and now i wish the same on the modern generation of spurs fans as a man in his fifties.
So we are both old school my friend, but what i see for spurs fans is a brilliant manager employing all of bill nics methods of attacking entertaining football, that even other teams fans want to watch, yes bill nics teams conceded goals ! you must know that going back that far, but by god we scored them too,as we are doing under harry.
Its a shame that arsenal never had that entertaining x factor all those years ago too, and thats that has been the difference in the history of the two clubs......although wengers teams arent backwards at going forward like grahams.
