Defoe.....

Sooner or later he will find the beck of the net, althought it would easy for redknapp to drop him and most fans would understand that dicision, but i think he should start and he does have a habbit of scoring in massive games to drop him now would knock his already fragile confidence , so im on the fence with him, i would start him & and pav if he has a bad game again bring on crouch

crouch will definitely start against Milan, you see Harry's face when Pav made a few mistakes yesterday. Although, I would go Pav & Crouch up front, Sorry Defoe, no goals all season, so no choice but to be dropped to the bench. Maybe bring him on 2nd half when the milan defenders are tired. Dont think Bales gonna make it.

Everything I'm seeing DJ, says that Bale won't be playing but I wonder if thats just 'arry being crafty ? Defoe desperately needs a goal. Even if the ball smacks him in the face and creeps in it would help him. I think Crouchinio will start, probably with VDV but Pavy deserves a run to see what he can do and he always looks happier when paired with Defoe. Defoe looks completely out of sorts at present and we need him scoring again, ASAP . . . . .

Defoe is out of sorts but he needs to play as Vis says if the ball hits him anywhere and goes in the net it could set him off. I remember when Chivers was just back from injury all those years ago and he couldn't buy a goal. Billy Nic was getting frustrated with him. The goal came when the ball hit his knee and went in. That set him on a run of scoring form that went on for 2 years. So yes Defoe needs to play.

My Guess is that Arry will go with whats got him this far, so far. Crouch up front (long ball) with RVV just behind. Defoe will come in the second half for RVV. imo.
