That's the worry isn't it, keeping him.

I heard a rumour from a friend of mine that Ferguson has already sounded out Spurs about Modric in the last couple of weeks. Then I read in 2 newspapers that he has offered a straight swop for Berbatov and Levy has said he wants cash.
Then I read that Modric has said in a Croation newspaper that he would seriously have to consider it if a CL team came for him.

It doesn't look good and if true it's what I always have said that Levy is only interested in the money and not the titles.

If we sell to top Prem sides every time then what does it say to the other players at the club.

Modric has a contract until 2016 and we should say to him you have to honour it the same way the other top sides do.
