So now it's official farewell and all the best to him 160 appearances 17 goals and some moments of real magic. Hopefully the new partnership with Real will lead to some good things.

I've got mixed feelings on this one. In some ways I'm sorry to see him go. He gave us some magical moments. I always liked the guy, came across as modest & unassuming, so find it hard to wish him anything but well but the way he has treated the club over the last 12 months or so since having his head turned by Chelski has left a slightly sour taste. It makes sense though to sell him abroad then to an English rival.
Don't quite know how this alleged partnership with Real will work? I also seem to recall something similar a fair few seasons ago. Just hope it doesn't lead to players like Sandro & Walker being cherry picked by them . . . . .

personally i thought last season he wasnt giving it all. to me i never really thought he was a spurs great. he had his moments of brilliance but i never really saw what everyone raved about. hes one we can replace without to much trouble. never scored enough for me. not sour grapes, just how i saw him. i was more gutted when berbatov left us to be honest. him we havent replaced yet.
