Been thinking about this for a few weeks now and had many a discussion with my pals about Bale and where he should play next season in which the general reply i got was ' anywhere but Spurs' w*nkers. But seriously Bale, left back or left wing? For me id like to see him play left back again i think he he played his best football last season from left back position, he picks the ball up in his own half and has more pitch to run into from LB. At times last season he look kind of sufficated playing left wing as he would pick up the ball midway in opposition half and have to check back as he knew he had 2/3 markers on him and not enough grass to run into. This IMO is why he quietened up in the latter parts of last season, that and injuries.

Who would you put Left wing then Lee? And lets not forget BAE played really well at Left Back last season.

Also have Danny Rose who can play both as he proved end of last season. See what you mean about space for Bale to run though

Problem is he's not a great defender imo. He always looked weak in a tackle when he played left back in the early days but great going forward. Put him LB and we leave ourselves open and somebody has to cover for him.
