With Gomes wanting a move back to PSV as soon as possible by all accounts, which would leave us with Cudicini aged 38 but not a first class keeper imo, and Brad Friedel who I think is 41 in May and who is a first class keeper but ageing how many seasons does he have left in him ?, do you think it's time to start looking for a top class keeper ?. Now I have not seen much of this player, only on match of the day, so maybe I am jumping the gun here, but from what I have seen of him I rate him highly, and that is the Bolton keeper Adam Bogdan, 24 years old, 6 feet 4 inches tall, Hungarian national keeper, very agile and has made some great reflex saves. I would love to see him at Spurs, and should Bolton get relegated I think we could get him. Now this is just my oppinion, but can any of you think of anyone better than this young man.

I liked the look of the Swansea keeper until we put 3 past him.

Bolton Keeper looks Ok just hope he not to demoralised.

Vorm of Swansea is the best keeper in the PL - Hart included
Krul gives him a run - Bogdan a bit in and out - Hennesy has had his moments

Pushed to think of any others who are not week in week out average

As your colleague said Vis I think Friedel was having a good season until the past few weeks - his 5 goal nightmare at the other end of the Seven Sisters Road was not a great afternoon - since then he is the pack

i not paid much attention to the bolton keeper but i do like a tall keeper.
its a shame gomez has not nuckled down because he is a great shot stopper. better then brad but brad calms the defence.

    i like krull though

The prob with keepers like Bogdan is his always on his toes because their defence is as open as a prossies legs. Great keepers like Friedel, who didnt have a save to make on Sunday, but when Sigurdsson had the shot arrowing into the top corner, Brad was alert to it and made a world class save. Its that concentration level and command of the defence that makes a great keeper.

Bogdan does not have a great defence in front of him, and I feel if he had a top class defence it would probably make him feel more relaxed and settled and turn him from a very good keeper into a great one. Remember, our Pat was not a great keeper when he first joined us but in time he became the best keeper this club has ever had. Given time and patience I believe Bogdan could become a very good replacement for Friedel.

but brad himself does not pull of saves gomez made

gomez would of saved rvp shot aganst us.
theres been a lot of goals where gomez could of saved but what brad does is he talks to hes defennders and does the basics right

Add to that his bad decision making and giving away penalties, dont even get me started on his goalkicks that barely reach the half way line, Brad is by far the better keeper, one thing you need in your goalie is consistency and for every great save Gomes made, I can recall two blunders.
