    Blackburn will make a formal approach to Tottenham in the hope of persuading assistant first-team coach and former player Tim Sherwood, 43, to become their new manager.

    Ok only newspaper talk but if true what are posters feelings about this? As I understand he is highly thought of as a coach and it has been discussed on this forum previously about him becoming manager in the future? Now I wouldn't blame should he jump at the chance to manage a club right now but I still think one day he will follow into footsteps that have been laid down for him at The Lane . . . . .

    Couldn't grumble if he did accept a managers job he must have ambitions to do so at some stage.
