Hard to say Mikey, but do we really want them plastering our business all over the papers?
Like Lought said, both Levy and AVB have stated that he is not for sale. The only ones
that are, are Marca and if you read some of the links i have posted above, they have their own agenda.

Apparently the real problem is Bales agent who has had a meeting with Real Madrids president a few weeks ago and discussed money and that he is available

It seems the main man Mr Lewis is stepping in to do the Bale deal with Real Madrid.

He wants cash only and most of it up front. They want to pay by instalments over 5 years. They say that if he agrees to instalments then he will ask for nearer £125 mil.

The reason RM want instalmnts is the fair play rule. It would leave them over their limit if they have to pay the lot.

It gets  more silly everyday.

I just want us to move on and start with a settled side and give ourselves a fair chance of acheiving something this year.

What is the truth? Levy and AVB have always maintained that he is not for sale. Has Bale really got the hump and feigning injury or is it the press because they are aching for this transfer to go through as its as dead as a dodo in the transfer market in the prem and no marquee signings mean no newspaper sales and no one watching Sky Sports news, but if he is sulking and feigning injury, he can f*ck off.

Spurs play Espanyol this Saturday 10th august, if Bale isn't playing, then that will be the final straw for me, he'll be off to Madrid.

He's already gone. The players have said goodbye, he's on his way what we don't know is for how much.

I'll tell you what Baz if we can get Morata then it will soften the blow of Bale leaving a lot easier. With Soldado and Morata up front we could achieve anything this year. However as the article says RM will not let him go.
I still believe Bale is on his way but who knows, after all this is football we are talking about and it's just one big fantasy league.

What I want Baz is Bale to stay but I think we all know that's unlikely to happen. But this Kid looks good, no very good. Played great in the under 21 tournament recently and Gio was not in the same class as this kid who they say will be in the National side for years to come.

We need another striker badly we can't just rely on Soldado, who is also untried in the prem. especially as Defoe looks like leaving.

I personally would rather we had gone for Negredo or Higuin but it didn't happen so this kid who is all the rage in Spain will do for me. Who knows in 4 years time we could sell him to RM for £150 mil.

gio was in the same class when we sign him. yet harry never played him.
then he got best kid at the last world cup and harry still ignored him.

harry could of got suarez before he went to liverpool but said no because he cant play with crouch lol

On a day when a poll of 150,000 RM fans results in less than 10% saying Bale is worth £100M their president now is reported as saying :

Since the club is owned by it's members and they elect the president it sounds as if he's worried about re-election.
It also suggests that £100M is what Spurs are asking

dont see how they can put a bid in if they havent paid us for modric yet.
