Re: Our run In
I think Dave is bang on the money once again Baz. We're the better team in that whole mix and, if the goals are back, are the team that others will be trying to keep pace with.
Villa don't have the quality or the staying power, Citeh don't have the consistency, Liverpool don't have either.
We have consistently shown the quality that should have had us winning games at a romp, particularly against Everton and Villa. We didn't because we simply squandered a criminal amount of golden opportunities. In truth it beggars belief, our conversion rate must be the absolute worst in the Premiership.
However, if that corner has been turned then it doesn't matter how good Everton's run is. They will still stay a ways behind us. And we all know that the other 3 don't have the consistency.
Goals in our game and third is a realistic possibility, particularly as the game, at home, against the goons would be very much a 6 pointer. Imagine cutting a nine point lead down to three in one fell swoop. Imagine it helps us to swap places with the goons. How big a boost would that be?
Mate, I truly believe we are good enough................ When our finishing doesn't border on the criminal.
So I'm with Dave, let's stop looking over our shoulder and start smelling blood!
