    I was looking at the prem league table and the gap developing between the top three and the 4th placed side (us ) and i just couldnt help thinking that its a completely wrong picture of the gulf between the respective sides.

    Ok so we have to beat teams like wolves, stoke and hull, but if you add the lost points to those teams to our seasons tally then you have to say we arent that far adrift really, we are certainly a better side than liverpool when you see we are better placed than them even after our blips to the lower placed sides.

    I am not saying we are as good as or better than...the top 3 .......i am saying that we arent as far behind them as the league table would have us believe.

    Lew in all fairness we also have to start beating the teams in front of us. April will answer a lot of questions about a lot of issues. We have to at least take a point from these teams each time. It's all well & good saying we pushed them close but we have to match them game for game. This isn't an anti or negative from me just it's a time we stood up and said "Yup - Bring 'em on" . . . . . . . . . . . .

    True vis ! good answer, i am sure the players are up for these games, but we do seem to have a bit of a mental block when we play any of the teams above us .
