Robbie Keane’s wife Claudine has urged her husband to consider a move to LA Galaxy when his loan move from Tottenham to Celtic finishes at the end of the season.
Keane will return to Spurs in the summer after a goal laden spell in Scotland and his wife told the Herald in Ireland that she would fancy a move to America.
Claudine Keane: "Would I like to see him play for a team like LA Galaxy? Yes, I would love that, but it changes all the time."
The wife of the Republic of Ireland striker also defended her husband over the detractors who claim it is easy to score goals for Celtic in Scotland than Tottenham in the Premier League.
"People may criticise his decision to go and play for Celtic but this really ticked a box for him. It's something he always wanted to do and I couldn't be more proud of him," said Claudine Keane.
Earlier this week Keane dismissed claims that it was easier to score for Celtic than Spurs and Tottenham first team coach Joe Jordan confirmed Harry Redknapp and the London club expect the hitman back at the club in the summer.
Keane has scored eight goals in eight games in all competitions for Celtic since joining on loan from Spurs in the January transfer window.
