yea i would. i think he looks better in the middle though as he has a football brain and hes always lookin to pass to feet. i would perfer him to stay and get rid of keane. i still think we need a goalscorer though

Yes I would. No big transfer fees and a player who has the experience at the highest level. Deffo a player who can offer something to the squad as a whole . . . . . .

The only problem is Monaco want him back. Unless they are just trying it on.

I read, Baz, that he has a proviso in his contract that allows him another 12 months on this current loan deal. I figure that means we keep him till next May should 'arry want to. IMO we can't wrong keeping him. Good influence on the training ground & in the dressing room & not a prima donna demanding a run out every week. He could prove to be a galvanising influence on us . . . . .. .

I think so dj, but we need a goal sniffer too, i am beginning to believe defoe isnt the answer.

Dunno whats happened to Defoe mate, he was banging them in early on in the Season, then went stale. Could it be a lack of service, he likes the ball played into his feet and turns defenders, also decent through balls for him to run onto, could be just bad luck and purely down to our injuries. He links up well mainly with through balls from Thudds. There's also injuries. World Cups just around the corner, lets hope he picks up some form, especially for our last remaining games.
