Tottenham grab Honduran youngster Lozano

Tottenham have won the race for Honduran wunderkind Anthony Lozano.

The 17-year old forward has been on a 10-day trial at White Hart Lane and it is believed that Harry Redknapp is keen to sign him.

Lozanoi has scored 11 goals in eight matches for the Honduras U17 side and already has a handful of senior appearances for homeland club Olimpia under his belt.

The Promise of new Honduran soccer, apparently. Obviously our recent track record with kids hasn't exactly been great. What with dos Santos and his attitude, Adel and his delusions etc. Let's say he impresses and we sign him. Any ideas if he's 'one for the future' thus, we wont see him in the first team for untold years if ever? Or does he play a part early on? Bostock is out on loan to Hull. So this kid has to be special special special for it to mean anything for the immediate future.

Tottenham have agreed a deal to bring Honduran starlet Anthony Lozano to White Hart Lane.
Spurs beat a number of Premier League clubs to the 17-year-old striker's signature and he will link up with compatriot Wilson Palacios.
Lozano spent time training with the Spurs reserve team during pre-season and impressed manager Harry Redknapp.
He is currently back in Honduras but will return to London next week to put pen to paper and resume training with his new club.
Lozano has scored 11 goals for his country's under-17 side, including four in last year's CONCACAF under-17 tournament.

its true. we have had loads of promisen strikers but never give them games .

lee barnard was breakin recoreds in our reserves but what was the point he never got a game for us. el ham however u spell it only played in the peace cup now hes looking good for hes club
