I have always thought that Cundy gets money under false pretences. When I listen to him on Talk Sport his views are totaly over the top and you always feel that he is a attention seeker and says most things to play devils advocate. He doesn't have a lot of common sense and his general knowledge is a joke to the extent he is embarrasing at times.

He always defends footballers what ever they have done and never feels that the obscene wages that they are getting at Citeh or any club is wrong.

His biggest problem as far as Spurs are concerned he always feels that he got a rotten deal at WHL and always talks well of his beloved Chelsea but often puts us down.

I have no time for the man and these days when he comes on I switch off.

cmon mike i heard his name sang out many times, theres only 1 jason cundy 1 jason cundy, lol i can hear it now, was he playing for yids when he scored that freak goal from the half way line

yep i think it was aganst ipswich i remember that goal. he even said he didnt mean it. i dont like listing to him on talksport as hes show is him muckin about half the time

funny you all mention him and that goal lol, he was in last weeks spurs programme and it was all about that goal august 30th 1992 v ipswich under the heading "one goal wonders".sherringham was making his debut for us but it was cundy who stole the limelight. he slid in to make a tackle and caught the ball full on sending it soaring towards the ipswich goal, it caught the wind and sailed over craig forrest into the goal. unfotunately wark levelled and we only got a point.
