On-loan goalkeeper David Button is going back to Tottenham to assess the injury he suffered against Colchester.

Button turned his ankle an hour into Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Community Stadium and left the ground on crutches with his foot in a cast.

"He went over on his right ankle," said Argyle manager Peter Reid.

"He's due to go to Spurs so we will let their medical team have a look at it."
