Wolfswinkel WolfswinkelTottenham have joined Newcastle United and Liverpool in tracking Dutch whiz kid Ricky van Wolfswinkel who currently plays for Dutch side Utrecht.Harry Redknapps Tottenham are fast becoming a very attractive proposition for some of Europe’s best youngsters and will have the edge over both Liverpool and Newcastle from both a financial perspective and European football prospects.Wolfswinkel has only recently broken through in to the Dutch national senior squad but has appeared for Holland at U19, U20 as well as the Dutch B team.He has earned glowing reviews from some of Hollands best players and the press in Holland have been full of speculation linking the 21 year old with a whole host of European sides, it is however Tottenham that are now considered favourites to land the youngster who could team up with fellow countryman Rafael van der Vaart as soon as January.
