With many questioning how good our squad is at spurs name 5 players you would definately keep.

Here,s mine.

Bale, ekotto,defoe, (the old)lennon and king.


Just doing this to see if we can actually get eleven players on the pitch with all of us making our selections.

If you cant get to five then only name those players you really rate, dont put players down on sufferage.

gomes,dawson,,modric, . i also would have lennon and defoe but you already picked em. this is a very good question lew and looking at the squad i must admit it is a struggle when you think about it . have a rep mate for a thought provoking thread.

Would like a little more feedback into this question because as it stands with three contributions we nearly have a team of eleven and all in their respective playing positions.

The right back slot is open and its either another striker or holding midfielder, so does that mean many on here dont rate corluka, hutton etc and also wilson ?

Agree with all the above mentioned players so far.
I know I'm gonna get crit for this, but, i would have Hutton over Corluka, always liked him.

Oh, and Pav needs to stay, over crouch and Keane.

Ok so we have.....gomes, ekotto,king dawson,kaboul,hutton, bale,thud,vdv,lennon,modric,crouch and defoe.thats thirteen in all.

Which i make you all right in your selections, these players we have named we feel confident with, now my point is that who,s left that makes up one of the strongest squads in the prem......? well there are many that havent been named and i would suggest its because we dont have much confidence in them.

My point is that its ok thinking that we have one of the strongest squads in the prem but its only in numbers, not quality......take away 6 of the above (through injury) and draft in 6 unmentioned players from the list above and we really turn back into an ordinary team.....and this is what harry is having to cope with at the moment.

make no mistake the players named above could take on anyone. imo and win.but without half of them we go back to being a 10th in the prem table side.

i would have hutton over corluka and pav over crouch.

pav has scored a prem goal. what has crouch done in the league this season. yes he scored the goal aganst man c. we cant keep going back to that. crouch has so many starts yet dosent score in the league
