ok.......so who else was well chuffed to see our former main man Paul Robinson stood down in the tunnel between the shelf and park lane???? I know he went off the boil but that man was a legend for us for a while and undoubtedly one of the most loved by us lot in the south stand.......i loved the instant outbreak of "england's no1"........

just shows how much the club and us fans meant to him that he bothered to be at our first CL game and came down to watch with us for a bit...

    nice one Robbo.....

Ropes ........ to this day , Robbo's goal that day is the premeirships longest range goal , 88 metres (96 yd) , 17 March 2007

We've also scored the fastest premeirship goal to date too ...Ledders 10.2 seconds away to Bradford 9 December 2000

One premeirship record we wont like is that THFC have conceded the most premeirship goals, 938...

Ya can't beat a good Stat Arnie ! ! ! Like most I was a huge fan of England's #1 Robbo. We deffo saw the best of his career at Spurs. Maybe one day he'll come back to the club in a coaching capacity. A most excellent servant for Tottenham Hotspurs robbo 489583 . . . . . . .

i dont agree. hes last 2 season with us the guy was a joke. he let in so many long range efforts. now we hardly ever let any in from long distance. He always seem to muck up aganst the goons..

hes the ian walker of the 90s
the bobby mimms of the 80s lol

gomes makes mistakes but hes hardly every beaten from long range. go back to robbo last season. we kept letting in 3/4 goals a game. it was only until cerny went in game for the last 8 games that we kept a few clean sheets. in fact during that spell he only let in 2 goals in 1 game and that was the last game aganst liverpool..

surley you guys remember how poor robbo was in hes last season.

r=orange]And that's why he moved on Lought. The BOO Boy's got there way, undermined his confidence and done for him. They so quickly forgot the magnificent performences he put in, the games he saved us, indeed the games he won us ! ! ! As they would have Gomes had they had their way ! ! ! As they will again & again with players whom they don't give a chance. Shame really . . . . . .

robbo will always be a hero at spurs. i went to the blackburn game last season and he got a great reception. then he got injured and had to be stretchered off. got another great reception. pity cos his replacement played a blinder if i remember right. anyway the goalkeeping coach now is another legend tony parks and we all remember his input into our hall of fame hisory.

Tony Parks was brilliant that night against Anderlecht. I still remember how we all went crazy when he made the save

the good old days lol, no fireworks going off at the presentation, no camera shots of players crying, that old white hart lane roof, one danny thomas being sung, near pornographic shorts lol. i will think of that all tomorow while i amm sitting in my sterile seat up the paxton v villa. i always look at parks doing the pre match training with gomes before game and think back to that night, hes a bit of a porker now lol. bet gomes hasnt even seen that clip.cheers anyway baz that gave me some nice memories

Hope i aint gatecrashing a private post here but robbo was good for a while for us ! i then thought i saw his limitations in that eufa cup penalty shoot out with gomes in goal for psv ! gomes made some great saves, robbo was diving and committing himself too early, one keeper looked miles better than the other and i wasnt surprised we went and bought gomes........... !
