Spurs have won the race for Everton midfielder
Steven Pienaar after he revealed that he will be joining them rather
    than Chelsea.

Both clubs had a fee agreed for the South Africa international
when Spurs upped their offer to £3m for the former Ajax ace and it was
then left to the player to decide on his destination and he has now
revealed on his Twitter page that he is going to join Harry Redknapp at
    White Hart Lane.

He said: "To end speculation I am going to
Spurs I've had brilliant years at Everton and it will always be a
    special place in my heart."

The 28-year-old is set to undergo a
medical on Tuesday and, providing he proves his fitness, put
pen-to-paper on a new deal at White Hart Lane, expected to be for four
    years.
