    Jesus, what a finish!

My heart is absolutely jumping out of my chest here, this game could have been wrapped up by the Toon before Lennon's goal and we could quite easily have blown it in the last 2 mins.

    I'm in bits here!! lol!

On the whole I think a point was fair but if you came into watching this game cold, you'd have thought that we were the home team with the number of shirts they had behind the ball even before they scored.

Have to say that I'm disappointed in both Hutton and Cudders for that goal.

What a bad time to quit smoking again!

to be fair though cudchine made up for it with some great saves. i thought hutton was poor today. hes crossing was poor aswell

krankar looked good when he came on.
we really need a striker and i would play 2 up front and not vdv because hes never up front.

i wish we had berbatov still he would suit the way we play.
all other strikers are scoring apart from ours.

it looks like pav on hes way out

To be honest, I'm not sure that playing 2 up front would have made much of a difference today Lought. They squeezed all the space in their final third and marshalled the strikers well. We created chances but it was via some fairly intricate play.

I did feel that Crouch made a difference when he came on, he seemed to throw their back 4 into a bit of a panic without really creating anything of note.

What really helped us was them looking to kill the game, searching for a second and stretching themselves. Lennon then got the chance to create some space for a shot. Not much mind, but enough.

We do desperately need a quality finisher though, although Harper also made some really class saves today, Defoe was unlucky not to open the scoring. It would have been a much different game if he had, one I think we'd have won fairly comfortably but that's speculation.

Hard earned point ............. Particularly hard on my old pumper!

How was it Sergeant Murtaugh put it, 'I'm getting too old for this sh*t!'
