Harry has now said something quite revealing. When asked he said "What did he have this week? Oh yes it's a long way to Newcastle! He had a bit of a sore groin and he couldn't make it, so there we go." Now that makes it clearer ( to me anyway) why Pav don't get picked.

Bit like the chicken and egg does Harry not pick him because he can't be arsed or can he not be arsed cos H don't pick him. You pays your money and takes your choice.

There are lot of posts on this forum mentioning the fact that our 4 strikers have a total of 6-7 league goals between them and that they all need replacing. However, no one has mentioned the fact that Pav has 5 of those league goals!!

Im going to say it again, his not being given a fair chance! Yes, his inconsistent and lazy but too me his lack of motivation is not surprising considering how his treated. If you were in Pavs position would you find it easy to be motivated when you know for a fact that:

    (1) You will be subbed around the 60min and replaced by a lanky streak off P*ss
    (2) If you dont score in the games you will most likely be dropped for the next game whereas donkeys like Crouch and Defoe can miss as many chances as they like and yet will be given another shot by the manager

Some of you can slate him as much as you want but the facts show that he has scored 5 of the 6 league goals that our strikers have scored and for some bizarre reason he does not have the faith of the manager that the rest have.

It makes me wonder, if Pav was English (with same attributes) and Crouch or Defoe were Russian (with same attributes), would Harry have more faith in Pav and would he rate Crouch and Defoe as much?!

Lought, isnt that what got Tarabaat moved on? you dont throw your toys out of the pram if your not selected, you work twice as hard to earn back your place, the same as bale and Hutton have done.
Now if its true that his feigning injury to not play, then move him on and with the money try and find someone that does want to arok hard and earn his keep, depite his limitations Crouch does just that.

well boatang didnt and look where he is now.
a player should be picked on form.

pav scored a great goal aganst chelsea then is dropped for the next 3 games. thats wel fair that is.

we dont know hes pretending to have a sore ankle.
idont care what players do in trainning because defoe is not doing anything in league games and pav should get a run in the team like the others seem to get.

this smacks of harry being stubborn because crouch and defoe or hes buys.

Pav has been offered a couple of new contracts and turned them both down. Harry wont play him if he thinks he wants out

Oh and its got nothing to do with being his buys, Dawson wasnt or Bale or most of the team, he picks players that work hard and want to play for Spurs and not themselves.
