    From BBC . . . .

1838: While speculation in Spain - and it is just speculation as far as I understand at present - is that Tottenham are closing in on a £30m deal for Villarreal striker Guiseppe Rossi.

forlan is not happening its on sky as we speck and rossi i dont know it will happen, tell you this much though we have been mugging ourself in believing we dont have a striker crisis , 5 goals in the prem between pav defoe crouch, it'll be a disgrace if we fail to sign anyone considering we only have 3 strikers who cant score , we've all this time to do a deal and again and again we leave it to the last minute

just slap 35 million in for Rossi not 30 mil or 15 million for Fabiano still time to do it if Chelski can sign Luiz then we can sign someone from Spain No chance for 4th if we dont sign a decent striker

we bid for Carroll and got guzumped by Pools Torres money
we bid for Suarez and got gazumped by Pools Torres money
we bid record ammount for Aguero and he stays at Athletico

other then paying silly money for ordinary and unfit strikers, what else can we do?

why do you think we have to leave until the last minute when we cant afford to outbid other clubs?

then we get a striker nobody else wants to appease the fans.

where did we finish last season? and with what strikers?

them strikers were good last season, this season complete oppersite

if we all thought like that we will always stay a wannabie club, we have money
to spend its not like were hard up and we want to play with the big boys,
now lets start acting like one of the big boys

apart from pav our strikers have been woefull all of 2010. the 2nd half of last season they hardly scored and we needed pav to save our season.

we could of got suarz. liverpool wernt intrested but harry was unsure hes worth that much.

again we leave things to the last minute. we never learn
