8 games played so far against the bottom 6 teams, only 1 win.
Out of a possible 24 points, we've picked up 8.
    That's why we won't finish 4th.

I wont concede 4th place till its mathematically impossible but now its difficult. Chelsea and City games are now soooo important. we really are having too many of these games where we dominate but still drop points. On the plus side today Pav and Defoe looked good upfront

Yes we should be automatically relegated for such bad form & such an awful season so far. Forget Real Madrid, offer it to QPR instead because we don't deseve a game like that. I would suggest to the Ryman League at the very least . . . . . . . .

Then how are we still 5th Lought ? FFS we don't just have to turn up to be given a result, like every other team we have to earn it. It may have passed you by but we are considered a "big scalp" and teams lift their game against us and often park the bus, yes we have to work out how to move the bus but mathematically we could still win the league! As could any of the top 5 teams. That, to me, is not a bad place to be. Yes if we had of won all those games you posted we would be romping home right now, but we didn't; yet still we are in with a chance . . . . . .

man u have been poor this season so have arsenal yet man u still win.

we are 5th because everton and liverpool have been poor. we are lucky. if liverpool win 2mz they will be 3 points behind us. we was 11 in front of them when i last looked.

go compare our results to last season. we are worse off
    man c lost 2 points
    everton 2 points
    west ham lost 5 points
    man c lost 2 points
    to name a few

Weren't we in 5th this time last season Lought ? Did we not seal 4th spot until early May and Crouchinio's winner against Citeh ? We drew with Wolves & Utd lost to them. I could go on but I can't be bothered . . . . . . .

2 points from 9 and all is rosey.

we have problems. our so called star player keeps gettin the hump when taken off although how defoe was not taken off was beyond me. i hope defoe is droped in our next game.

I'm not saying it's rosey Lought but I'd rather be where we are then, say, West Ham. We are pretty much in the same posistion as last season. As for Defoe, he should have done better when the ball pinged back in the 6 yard box to him, but apart from that he done what he could. Same as Carlton Cole for the Bubble Blowers. I know I would rather have in my team though . . . . . .

Why are you LOL at this fact Lought ? Are you happy at that fact ? Do you get pleasure from going "nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, told you so"? Love the fact that Carroll & Nolan have 22 goals between them for the Bar-Codes and yet they ain't in 5th spot Spurs are . . . . . . .

do u think darren would have more then 2 goals this season aswell as 1 pen from last 8 games of last season

Lol its like a episode or eastenders with u two. Defoe has gone crap too mutch partying with blonde girls i think lol! he can right this season off and come back next season as the main man. Still better than Bent though he is not as proflic as he was goals have dried up for him too. Yesterday Arry should of brought on Kranky might have nicked it then. I do agree with Lought with losing or drawing with some of them teams is not acceptable but Everton u cant class them as poor lought they r a good side. As for been 5th im happy but not ecstatic with our squad we should be higher. The Chelsea City game is massive for us today we need it to be a draw or at least Chelsea to win City will drop more points than Chelsea rest of the season

If we finnish 4th which is still very much a possilbility then we will forget these stats come the end of the season .

I still think Citeh look vunerable and we have them and chelski , i think our destiny will hinge on these 2 games
