Re: Who After Arry
I can't believe some on here want Jol.Harry has limitations but Jol would be worse. He seems to upset the dressing room where ever he's gone and his results since he left us have not ben to great have they. The same with Pardew he's had a remarkable run but his bubble will burst next season just like Harry.
My choice would be Ancelloti. Chelsea would be in a much better position had he not been given the elbow. The man has been there and has the T shirt.
Moyes is another worth a punt as he has never had the resources that Spurs can offer him and he is a no nonsense manager.

As Far as I have ever heard Moyes has never been approached - not once been a candidate
He just does not fancy Moyes in the job

He's reactive rather than proactive. He sets his teams up to combat the tactics of the opposition rather than develop tactics that force the opposition to react and adjust.
He's quite negative in his approach, IMO. I see him as a manager who's number one priority is to not lose rather than to win.
The form of Everton, under his tenure, has fluctuated wildly. They can be absolute Worldbeaters one week then look like a cobbled together pub team the next.
His transfer policy doesn't eally appear to include hunting for quality. His signings are, primarily, journeymen who can 'do a job'rather than flair players that he can instill a work ethic into. It seems to me that he looks for that type of work ethic already existing in a player rather than instilling it into precocious talent. That is how you create World Class talent, take the visible quality, encourage it and supplement it with the will to go out and take the game by the throat.
For me he is a sidewards/backwards step in our development as a team and club. He's spent so long having to maintain the survival mindset that I really don't believe he'd take us beyond where we are, and I'm not convinced we'd see anything more that pretty dour workmanlike performances rather than the entertainment we crave.
I'd take Rogers in a heartbeat over Moyes. I never fell for all the hype about manager like Coyle, Coppell, Jewell et al when they had their 15 minutes of fame, but Rogers I'm convinced is a different animal. He consolidated through the first half of the season and, despite a few blips, I believe Swansea have kicked on and done so maintaining the Football philosophy he has instilled from day one, they haven't panicked and reverted to hopeful 'scrapping'. I really do feel he will be a World class manager in the fullness of time and I'd like to see it done with us if we can't get TSO.
Still, what do I know hey?
