So now we all know, and i say lets move on and get behind the team as a whole, and that includes arry.

I hate to say I told you so but "I told you so"

I have been saying all year that the FA would not pick Harry. He was never their man, it was media hype that had him for England and nothing else.

The problem is we still have Harry!!!

Hmm, I know what you getting at Nic, I read the report and thought to myself, is this game playing, we approach Woy, so they cant be accused of not entertaining others.

Or is it genuine. Arry has just become problamatic with the way it has all been handled over the last few months, with Arry looking like a foregone conclusion.

I just dont know what to beleive. But If Woy gets the Job. Will Arry be able to pick himself up after the disappointment?

your missing the bigger picture here, for a start lets look at arry vs woy CV , Woy has the experience , but at the end of the day Roy is a free man come may no contract whereas arry is tied to a contract that would cost the FA 10 millon pound ( in a terry tibbs vioce ) thats right 10 million pound to release him, and after paying capello of 6 mill + paying another 10 mill to get arry aint gonna happen boysn girls we are lumbered unfortunately

There are a of cynics on here. It's not a conspiracy lads Hodge has got the job, end of.
I'm not sure if he's the right man for the job, only time will tell but I'm sure he will do a better job than Harry would.

Spot on Lobs. I thought Arry was a forgone conclusion too but wasn't really surprised when they went for Uncle Woy. He won't make waves at the FA and will do as he's told. I think Arry would never fit in at the FA in retrospect.

This is disastrous for Spurs....We were in line for 8-10 million compensation ... Damn you Trevor Brooking & the other fekwits at the FA, that for once making a good decision ... But, Hodgson isn't going to get the leeway with the journos now that their delboy has been overlooked .... I fear for Roy , I really do ....

Apparently the FA are claiming they were in contact with Arry twice and invited him in for interview in March Arnie

Well they say they wrote to him anyway ............... Rolling Eyes

    lol Nic

Do you think this is good for you Goons going into your final game away with the baggies, that's if the game matters in the race for 3rd that is ?

I see you've also snapped up Podolski ... Methinks that's a good replacement for Van Persie, like for like ...

I don't really know Arnie - West Brom are safe - nothing really to play for - same as Norwich on this Saturday

But both of the clubs have a bit of pride about them and even if it is Woy's last game I reckon they will put in a good effort

    true vis
do you think harrys at home in a bad mood lol
everyone thought he would get it
even he thought he would get it and fact he said he dont want the chelsea job but kept silent about england says it all
but where do we go from here.
what if he signs a new contract then roy has a bad euros and is sacked then we get all this again leading up to the world cup.

i think we should keep harry unless we get a top class manager to come in.

i would sell one of either bale or modric i think im inclind to keep modric over bale.

It looks like Arry is going to stay now and I am far from happy but what can you do? I suppose you have to back him and hope the team pull it together to get top 4. I wonder what Levy's thoughts are?
