I can't understand why Davies didn't get booked for elbowing Sandro in the face. And yes I do think it was deliberate. He tried to do it again to Sandro some minutes later. Dirty f*cker he is.

Tottenham moved to within a point of third-placed Arsenal with a
convincing victory at Bolton that keeps the Trotters inside the
    relegation zone.

Luka Modric put Spurs ahead with a fine dipping strike despite Bolton's claims that Sandro handled in the build-up.

The hosts, watched by Fabrice Muamba from the stands, equalised through Nigel Reo-Coker's first-time finish.

But Rafael van der Vaart slotted in before Emmanuel Adebayor sealed the points with two close-range efforts.

It was Tottenham's first away win in the Premier League since they beat Norwich at Carrow Road on 27 December.

They look firmly on course for a top-four finish and
will hope to take six points from their final two matches, against Aston
    Villa and Fulham.

Bolton, by contrast, are fighting to stay in the
division and Saturday's visit of West Brom now takes on even greater
    importance.

They are three points ahead of Blackburn and level on points with QPR, but Rangers have a far superior goal difference.

    More to follow.

So can I be safe in my expectation that as a first step you will be apologizing to Atkinson ?

Your having a laugh Nic, heres an earlier post about possibly the worst ref in the prem.

Poor old Atkinson has endured a torrid season. He dismissed Jack Rodwell for a legitimate challenge on Luis Suárez, the decision swiftly rescinded.

He failed to realise that Clint Hill’s header for QPR had crossed the Bolton goal-line. He allowed Mario Balotelli’s awful challenge on Alex Song to go unpunished.

I am not at all having a larf Dave

As I have said previously, and often, the ref gets one go at it and does his best. Far, far more contentious split second decisions are called right than are ever called wrong

The game is high speed, players cheat, managers cheat, unlike the so called meeja experts the referee does not get the chance to review a decision from seven different camera angles

Inevitably under the present system, with no video replays, errors happen

So all the shite piled on referees is uncalled for

But Atkinson seems to want more than one go, his record of bad decisions is apalling, his costing teams valuable points, the occaisional error, but its becoming serial with Atkinson.

A very good win, and as Vis said it looks like everyone is singing from the same song sheet. However, I would like to know why they all lost their voices some weeks ago, was it down to a dodgy Lasagne or a bad case of Laryngitis spreading through the team.

Like big babies Len, boo hoo, dont know if the gaffer is leaving or not, instead of playing their guts out so that if a new manager was to come in, they would have been watching how they have played the last 4 weeks.

Man with red & white fork tounge speak heappum load of Buffalo crap . . . . .
So when a Refs decision goes against Spurs Nic we should dare not criticise and doubt, yet when a Refs decision may possibly benefit Spurs we should criticise ?

Feel free to "criticize" referees Vis as you appear to think it is a footballs fan's right to give the man in black utter shite if and when he makes an error

    Be consistent though

When your club gets the benefit of a wrong decision give the referee the same shite

And don't ever claim not having video review ain't what a professional sport requires

Nic I suggest you trawl through my older posts and re-read the majority of them to do with Ref's ? Yes I strongly criticised Pratkinson, and will continue to do so all the while this imbecile makes such glaring mistakes. You will see that in the past I have supported Ref's even when awful decisions have gone against Spurs so please do not be so sanctimonius with me when you suggest in one thread we should not criticise but in this one suggest we should. Make your mind up which route you feel we should take because this seems like thread hi-jacking to me, to one moment harraunge posters for criticising a Ref then implore them to now criticise a Ref. As an arsenil fan it's very easy for you to sit on the fence here but this is Spurs that are being discussed with a majority audience of Spurs fans. So if I feel hard done by by a Ref because of a truely poor decision given against Spurs I do feel that I am with-in my right to air those views on here with fellow brethren . . . . .

    Sanctimonious ? Inconsistent ?

    Not for a single second

IF you want to give a referee hell, whether they produce a good decision or a dodgy decision then get on with it

My suggestion is DON'T slag off a referee when you don't get a dodgy result and ignore it when Spuds get a dodgy decision in their favor

    It's nonsense mate

but the refs have such a tough job to do
they have players non stop lying to them trying to gain an advanages.

coaches tell the players to go to ground if touched and claim for everything even if it didnt touch you

Thats got nothing to do with the inordinate amount of mistakes Atkinson is making.

As Vis says, it's a Spurs forum where SPURS supporters can discuss the merits or otherwise of all things football and if that means slagging refs (Whom Nic has suddenly become the champion of) then we will. And before you say you have a right to defend ref's Nic we know. But we have as much right to our opinions on there performances on the pitch especially if it affects important games. If I want to say a ref was sh*t, that's my right and I will say it. You can be sure of that lol.
