Newly appointed Tottenham boss Andre Villas Boas is wasting little time in overhauling his squad with news emerging that he has submitted an £11 million-bid for Brazilian Oscar from Internacional.

The news comes the day after the club completing the signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson for £8million as Villas Boas looks to strengthen his squad for next season in the pursuit of Champions League football.

He reminds me of Kaka a bit, from what I have been hearing, lots of deals are being done , good to see we are getting these done early , AVB said today he wants to bring the age of the squad down

Sky say he has turned us down and says he does not want to move abroad.

It seems we did make inquiries but he does not want to move.

Be interesting to see if he goes to Spain or City.

hope he dont start making to many new signings, we have a quality squad as it is if he uses it wisely when needed.players to come back, thud ? ekotto , dawson, caulker given his chance. the bench can only hold so many a*ses so dont go overboard buying when we have players to be used.one striker now and im happy with what we have imo.

Where are they all going to play?

At least Luka wont get his dream move to them so that he dont have to move house and his family, talk about wanting your cake and eating it!!

I like the look of this Oscar kid. Sandro has said he wants us to make a move for him and I think it'll be a shame to miss out on him to the Chavs.

I will try and watch all Brazil's Olympic matches they have some good young, really exciting players and for them , just in time for the 2014 World cup in their country.

They have a winger called Lucas Moura , he's worth watching , could be a future superstar up there with Messi and Ronaldo.
