What a star man he is.

Joe Jordan has urged Tottenham fans not to judge Andre Villas-Boas too quickly, insisting he must be given time to stamp his mark on the club.

Boos rung out at White Hart Lane at the end of Saturday's draw with Norwich as Tottenham remain without a win under Villas-Boas in three Premier League games.

But Jordan, number two to Harry Redknapp last season as Spurs finished fourth, has called for supporters to be patient with the former Chelsea chief.

He told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: “I thought Spurs were the better team at Newcastle [when they lost 2-1]. They didn't get the goals and that is so important. The two home games [against West Brom and Norwich] there was a pressure on and the way that they conceded the goals towards the end was disappointing.

"But he has got some good players there, some very good players, and he has bought in players that he wanted, so you have got to let it gel together.

“It is not going to happen overnight, especially players coming from abroad. They take time to settle, not just on the field but off it. It takes a bit of time."

"Norwich City manager Chris Hughton believes that Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas will eventually be a success at White Hart Lane.

The Portuguese manager was always going to face an uphill battle convincing the Spurs faithful that he is the right man for the job after a disastrous spell as manager of Chelsea last season."

It seems our old muckers are all still with us and seem to want to see us succeed

If there was an award for this sort of thing Lought you would walk it

Sorry Dave - is that a bit arrogant or don't you feel the remarkable change of direction worth commenting on

No nic I don't trawl through every post trying to take the P*ss out of anything spurs, but when anything is said about your club, you throw your toys out of the pram and behave like a spoilt kid.

You make a beeline for Lought , his spurs and his heart is in thr right place, but you belittle him with your oh so clever comments.

Your not as clever as you think you are and to make things perfectly clear, your stil an arrogant twat.
