I read yesterdays article last night , seems this bloke Jake Meador is a busy chap.
For the past two years, Spurs have favored a 4-4-1-1 attack that used the creativity of Luka Modric and Rafa Van der Vaart in central roles and the pace of Gareth Bale and Aaron Lennon in wide roles to create scoring chances. For all their creative guile and pace, however, those Spurs’ sides often amounted to little more than counter-attacking teams.

Cheers Baz .... Whilst AVB hasn't been given his Moutinho, I'm pretty sure Sandro and Parker between them can give the players ahead of them a platform to create. I don't foresee AVB persisting with the two defensive midfielders we've seen in the opening two matches, well I'm hopeful he doesn't. I think he used both Livermore and Sandro in this way knowing that with Defoe upfront on his own due to Ade not being fully fit our ball possession would not be what it should be . Also with Dembele slotting in alongside one holding midfielder things will improve I'm pretty sure of it .
It's a shame Levy couldn't get both the Ade and Dembele deals done a lot sooner as I'm sure we'd have
an extra couple of points by now.
