    I've just got to do this . . .

    Super,
    Super Jan.

    Super Jan Vertonghen.

This guy is awesome. Superb at centre-half then as good a left back as we have seen at The Lane in awhile. He has it all. Brilliant defender, comfortable on the ball. Can pass and bring it forward. We have Parker, Sandro & Thudd who can all play the holding role in midfield but, in my humble opinion, this guy could probably be better then all of them in that role as well. Could be the best signing we have made for sometime.
    Sir Big V.
    I salute you . . coolie . . . .

I feel we will soon get this, our best back five.

It's midfield and attack where we have to sort things out.

The new signings Siggy and Dempsey are still finding their feet and Defoe alone upfront is not something I want us to persevere with.
