apparently real madrid have their eye on avb to replace mouriniho if /when he leaves.spurs would be powerless to stop him leaving if he chose to go as he has a clause in his contract which would let him leave if real madrid come calling. question is would he want to go ? silent

Interesting that Shear. The clause is, I would think, there on AVB's insistence? Why else? He's building something good at Spurs and he surely must realise he will have time at Spurs to do so (unless the knee-jerk one defeat brigade have a say in matters!)whereas at Madrid he may only get Chelski time if things aren't perfect from the start. But if that's the job he wants and he can walk then he will walk and we will yet again be hoping for another new dawn with another new manager. Hope not but we are just the fans and what we want and believe in isn't always what we get but Spurs really need someone for the long term to build a dynasty for the future. Could just be meeja gossip but let's wait & see eh . . . . .

Hope he stays but as Vis says, if he really wants to go then he will. Players and Managers come and go but the club and the fans are the only constant. Seen it all before. We'll survive.
