Re the Wigan v gooner match. I am not saying it would have made a difference to the result, but should a team be expected to play such an important game three days after playing at Wembley that has cost them their Premiership place, and may even cost us fourth place, due to the fact the Wigan players were shattered, and the Arsenal players were rested for, what was it, nine days?. What was wrong with playing this game on a Wednesday to give the Wigan players an extra day's break, and then they would have had untill Sunday before they played their final game. I don't know if I have got this wrong but, was'nt the FA Cup always the last game of the season? imo it should be, after all the European and relegation positions have been finalised. Also, I honestly feel that had we not concentrated on what people are calling the Mickey Mouse Europa Cup, we would have been home and dry in fourth place, and maybe even finished above Chelsea. Should we end up in this competition again next season, I hope it is a short stay although their will be those of you that disagree with me. I want us to make a serious challenge for the Premiership title next season, but feel the Europa Cup will spoil our chances of this happening.

i like the europa len, only thing is it is de valued by losers from champions league dropping into it halfway through it. all about money letting the big teams in after we have played all the other games.

I'm with Shear. I like the Europa and would have loved to have won it. LOL Thursday would have been a lost day for me. All told I'm happy with this season so far . . . .
