Just a bit of Pre Season debate.
If Capello leaves the England Managers Job, and Harry takes the post, (as he has shown some interest.) Who would we want to take over?
PS how would we feel about Harry if did leave for the Big Job?

If 'arry was to take the England I have always stated that in no way would I hold it against him. What greater honour for an English manager ? I've posted elsewhere, and will bring it up here, how would we feel if he done it part-time while still at Spurs ? Would it affect his job at The Lane ? Bring on Clive Allen & Tim Sherwood along with Bond & Jordan & it may or may not work . . . . . .

Nah, its a great honour as you so rightly say Vis. I would be disappointed but I would be happy for him but do you think he would be considered with his shall we say chequered past?

That could be the one thing that works in our favour Baz when it come's to him staying. He is without doubt the stand-out English manager. Mind you they gave the job to 'El Tel' lol . . . . . ..

The fa wont appoint Harry, his still under investigation, Pearce will get it.

I would give it to Sherwood. We don't know how ready he really is yet, but he was always a strong leader and Harry has made it known to Levy that he is a future Tottenham manager. I could happily live with Klins though.

Am a little concerned that the name on EVERYONES lips to replace Capello is Redknapp, id be gutted if he left Spurs before he has even give the Champs Leauge a crack. Another thing some of you mention Klinsmann to take over, now i didnt see the Spain Portugal game but i noticed Klinsmann was in he studio, did they not get talking about the England post and the possabillity of a Tottenham opening ???????

Answering my own post, if the fa swallow their pride and forget about Harrys past and current legal problems and appoint him as next manager and i assume he wont try to combine it with Spurs and after watching Klinnsman on the Beeb, i would love him as manager, his eloquent, knows his footie, speaks better English then Rooney, my only problem would be that he might be too nice!!

The FA would be mad to get Harry as their manager ... They need to get rid of the 'Alpha Males' ( German striker Muellar said, "to many Alpha Males in England Squad". What he's politely saying is , To many big headed twats ) and by appointing Harry, all they would be doing is extending the England careers of certain celebs , I mean players .. Next Spurs Manager Icon_smile

Harry would also be mad to take on the England job... Should stay with Spurs and become a premeirship league winner with us ..

If on the other hand Harry goes ..Im with a few of you guys on here ...Jurgen would be good but we all do know he got sacked at Bayern for being a little to Ossie Ardiles and they were on the wrong end of some thrashings ? Also, Jurgen gets homesick for California even when he's in Germany ....

My first choice for Harry's replacement would be Gus Hiddink ...

Core, all this talk of Arry out and Klins, in. It's as though it's a done deal. It's like it's a done deal coz it is. lol
Any way, if we do end up with Klinsman. I hope we get him while the tranfer window is open. As he would have i feel good pulling power now that we in Europe and i would want him to have the opportunity to choose his own players and not to inherit.
