New Tottenham midfielder Sandro on Twitter: "Thank you very much to the fans. I will try to make the best for Tottenham. Go Spurs."
Rachel Tyrrell, Lincoln via text: "I love Harry Redknapp, he is truly the Elvis of Transfer Deadline Day. It ain't over until Harry has left the building."
F'kin cheap, I've been harping on about us getting Van der Vaart since Aol Spurs days. But since then he's played in germany and Spain.
Not sure where he's gonna fit in now Bale has come good. He's left sided but favours the middle, so i suppose he'll be pushing Modric and Bale for the first team.
Looks like you can go back to your Orange Font again, now we have the Dutch Connection again Vis.
Nice one Sarf, I may well consider it . . . . .

Sports journalist Mike McGrath on Twitter: "Spurs love late deadline-day deals. Van Der Vaart up there with Arsenal's Arshavin as last-ditch. He'll be good and has inside track on Champions League opponents Inter Milan."

I know the deal has already been done for VDV but, as far as Snieder is concerned, I'm with you on this one Lought.
It was only the other day we were talking about a 'driving force' in the Spurs midfield, Snieder would have ticked every box for me.
People seem to forget that when we were our most successful, not only were we regarded as a supremely gifted side, we were also regarded as one of the toughest in the game.
I'd have loved to have seen Snieder in the Lillywhite.
Ah well.
