Mark ....I feel Harry's doing whats right with the squad selection whether we lose tonight and lose Sunday! .... He's going to get criticised if the results go against us but equaly, he could send out our first eleven tonight and both results over the next few days go against us ....
I say we should embrace the changes and hopefully we enjoy watching a Spurs win and a couple of Spurs legends in the making .... I hope we see Falque, Pritchard and one or two others play blinders , I'm just a little dissapointed Ceballos and Coulibaly didnt make the squad..COYS..

surley you wanaput your wits aganst teams from other contiennts.
mic mcarthy said he never wants to get in the uefa cup.
Uefa is to blame Loughtan .... How can they run two competitions simultaneously, where the prize money for entering one competition, far exceeds, I should say dwarfs the other one for winning the whole thing ?

Defoe has stayed behind with the rest of the first teamers ..They're in training, working out moves, him and bad Ade for the big one on Sunday ....
Defoe could've played and got injured ...
Could've, could've .Lought... chin up mate...Give it a COYS lol
We've got what we got out there .... If we lose tonight we can still turn it around in the remaining five games but if we do well , think of the positives ...
IMO , Harry is doing the right thing here ... COYS

Same here mr vis ! nice to keep the fringe players happy and to show what they can do, who knows ? a star might be out there that harry cant afford to ignore.
Thats what happened with bale , but he doesnt seem to be progressing , now his game is more known to defenders.

PAOK Salonika v Tottenham: Harry Redknapp denies he is treating Europa League with contempt
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has denied that he is treating the Europa League with contempt despite leaving 10 of the side who started last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Wolves at home for their Group A opener against PAOK Salonika.
With this weekend’s key league game against Liverpool in mind, the likes of Andros Townsend, Jake Livermore, Giovani dos Santos and Yago Falque will start in what is expected to be a white-hot atmosphere generated by PAOK’s notorious fans at the Toumba Stadium.
Redknapp has always made it clear he prioritises the league over Europe and recently described tonight’s game as a “nuisance”.
But he insists that he is not disrespecting the competition, pointing to Spurs’ mounting injury list, and the importance of Sunday’s game, as the reason why he has left the likes of Gareth Bale, Scott Parker, Emmanuel Adebayor and Luka Modric at home.
“It’s not a case of prioritising a game, it’s just [using] what I have got,” Redknapp said.
“I couldn’t bring players out here, play them on Thursday night and play the same group against Liverpool.
“If I get a few injuries I have no back-up. I have nine senior, very, very good players who are injured.
“Some of them have played two international games so I wanted to change the team around. I have done that. I have not been able to use the strong group I have for this first game because for this first game they’re not fit.
“After this we will be able to field almost two very, very good teams in Europe.”
Spurs opted to train at their Chigwell base yesterday morning instead of at the stadium. Redknapp denies that this was also a sign that Tottenham are not treating the competition with enough respect.
“We are not arrogant. We just decided that we would train at home rather than here,” Redknapp said. “Lots of teams do that. Arsenal do it for their European games.
“If we travel and train on the pitch everyone can see what we will do in terms of set-pieces etc. It’s ridiculous, but there is no arrogance. We respect them very much.”
Redknapp revealed that Sébastien Bassong is likely to captain a team that will have only Dos Santos, Kyle Walker, Vedran Corluka, Roman Pavlyuchenko and either Carlo Cudicini or Heurelho Gomes as senior players.
Meanwhile, former Tottenham midfielder Rohan Ricketts could make his Europa League debut for Shamrock Rovers in tonight’s other
Group A game with Rubin Kazan. Ricketts and ex-Motherwell defender Jim Paterson are both in the squad for the meeting in Dublin.
