Now if newcastle do finish above spurs then surely that makes parswe the best english manager, im sure those at the FA will be fully aware of this stat , be interesting who they go for , someone with the gift of the gab who could give 5-8 years top wack, or someone with a real long term future who can give 20 years if successful

I've always felt that Redknapp was not really what the FA wanted but there was so much media hype behind him that they thought they had to pick him. But now they have a way out with his recent results.

I never believed he was good enough for the England job he doesn't have the ability to be a good International manager.
