now go blame ade and gallas
If you want to go back to the first game yeah, Gallas was awful and Basle should not have been leaving WHL with two away goals and yeah had Ade passed to Sig instead of being GREEDY we would have been through.

Dempsey for all his faults scored two goals, so I will repeat, had Ade passed to Sig for a tap in, we would have won, no pot shots, just an easy pass to win the game.

Where's your weekly dig at Walker? Our best player and funny how the little Egyptian wasn't running us ragged and don't even mention the goal, Dembeles fault entirely, Basles best team scraped through against less then half a Spurs team, sorry Lought, Ade gave us nothing tonight, at least Sig gives a hundred per cent, instead of going round grinning all night

walker9 played well
daws9 for hes comitment.
verts7. great going forward but struggles aganst good attackers.
naughton 6 poor game.

That's the problem Lought, no intelligence and since he got the contract, no commitment. We need a hungry striker that will die for the ball, not laugh and joke with the defenders, but get in their face and do what they are paid to do, be a striker, not a winger or a midfielder.

Re: FC Basel Match Thread
now we slag ade of for not passing when you know bale and defoe would not of passed.
dawson was awfull first half but was superb in extra time.
i thought when hudd and carrol came on we bossed the game because both players are comfy on the ball
second assits in 2 cameo games for hudd

At 100 grand a week, we expect more than just good and most of us didn't think he was good, Bale and Lennon are irrelevant, they was not there.

Re: FC Basel Match Thread
we didnt lose because of ade we lost because of dawson and verts.
dawson was awfull first half and made 3 rash challenges he got away with and it was hes mistake that got verts in trouble.
dawson was good in extra time though

Well, everyone has their opinion including us on here. From what I have seen some like him and some hate him. Never seen anyone say they love him though or that he's going to be a legend.

Frustration mate, rightly or wrongly, you pay up to 75 of your hard earned pounds to watch someone on 100 grand a week laugh and joke with the opposition, smile when he misses a sitter and not always give his all, you might boo him too, not me personally, but I'd like to see a striker go and kick the hoardings when he misses a goal.
