First only way to go in my opinion. Take away the silly points lost & start to grind out results like the teams above us do & why not. Harry said we should at least be thinking about it so why not. We have a squad of players that rival the teams around us. Some good established players & youngsters getting better every season. Add a couple of players & why not. Sure some (No prizes for guessing who on here lol) will see it as over reaching & our usual blind optimism with no substance but not me i think we're really in with a shout simple as.

I won't deny it. Some matches there isn't constant noisy singing going on. I don't know why. Part and parcel of the de-sanitisation of football probably plays a big part... being threatened with being kicked out by stewards if you don't sit down is ridiculous.
However, some matches you come out out deaf and hoarse. Not necessarily against the matches that are safe predictions of a big atmosphere. Everton at home last year when we ended up scraping a draw comes to mind. So I don't know.

I dunno ....The gooners I know have been telling me we have to finish in the top four first before we can mount a title challenge , now we have , its not enough to be thinking that way ?
Unlike Everton of a few seasons ago who also finished 4th, we did not finish 34 points adrift ...No its 16 points , alot I know but not insurmountable ?
Yes I know we need a couple of top players or perhaps it will be two new signings that will exceed our expectations but why not ?
Last season, with the squad we had, I were seeking a minimum 6th position but quietly thinking we could get 4th ..... Though Im not shouting from the rooftops that we will win the title, I do believe we can get more than the 70 points tally we got last season . If it happens that we get a good start , the players believe and with the backing of the White Hart Lane faithfull, I believe anything can happen ......
I so hate a defeatist attitude

If we take the double reverse against Wolves, the dropped points against Stoke, Hull & Burnley we are looking at well into 80 points. We will drop daft points again this coming season. Hell we are Spurs and to not do so would be odd to say the least. But last seasons lessons will have been learnt and we will continue to take points from our so-called rivals and contenders for top 4 to 1st place and also not drop as many against so-called "lesser" teams. Recipie for sucsess me thinks . . . . . . ..
