I think we may have signed him as we would have failed now if we had had the paper work in by 6pm....then the premier league has to go through everything and say it is ok....

Am i wrong? But i think we have signed him but just no official word yet !!!!

Didn't the Premier League allow a team, last year, to go until Midnight to sign a player ? Rumour mill is saying a done deal but let's wait until it's official . . . . . . .

They are FA rules...as long as the paper work is all in by the 6pm deadline then it can still go ahead...there is no time limit for the premier league to go over the paper work !!!

I've been to a few 'Meat Markets' where they brought a bucket around so you wouldn't 'blow chunks' on the floor!!

Seriously though, Strigfellows was a tourist rip off haven that played W*nk music and was full of Plums.

I used to go clubbing at Dingwalls in Camden Lock, before they turned it into a Comedy Store, and the Mambo Inn over Brixton way. This was back in the 90's when Acid Jazz was going strong. When I didn't fancy the City I went to Legends in Luton, right up until they started Kow Towing to the Rave nippers.

Legends was quality back then, lots of Stewardesses used to attend and Yes, their reputation is not exaggerated.

In the late 70's and early 80's I spent many a night at dingwalls looking for talent......to record or put on as I was a promoter and had an independant record label. It was mostly new wave and punk but they were great times.
