King - swollen knee no return date
Woodgate - groin no return date
Dawson - various no return date
Kaboul - hamstring no return date

There is no argument when it come to the list of injuries because accourding to the so called footballing experts & pundits we have one of the largest squads with so much depth, so even with this list of injured players we still have players to fill in, if on the other hand the argument is the replacements aint good enough then the question is why aint they good enough lol

There's is no team in the Premiership that could cope with that injury list.
And that's just the defenders, the bigger picture is we are missing a back four and the goalkeeper....plus Defoe
Looking at that you can't really blame Harry but why he has loaned out Caulker?

Dont know if we can recall Walker, Naughton looked lost against Arsenal and Charlies certainly no centre back and no matter who you play in this league Lobo, you need a back 4 that plays regulary together.

Lobo ! we on here built the second team fill in players up to almost as good as the first teamers, the truth is they arent as good as previous threads on here made out, unfortunately many of us were right about giovani, and bassong, they just arent good enough.

I dont know if you saw the threads that reckoned that we had two squads that could hold their own in the premiership.............but we havent, its wishful thinking and recent results are proving it.

Im not so sure, our defence has been for the most part pretty good even on saturday it was pretty good , the real problem here isnt our defence its our ability to score goals

Tend to agree with Lobo, as ive said in many posts, wernt so long ago that we was losing by at least 2 goal margins, if we do get beat, its largely by the one goal and at the mom we are unable to outscore oponents, sure, goalkeepers have blinders against us and im not Crouchs biggest fan, but we are not supplying enough ammunition for him. When Bale plays at left back, we lose that ability and also a goal threat (2 against Stoke), when we beat Wigan 9-1 we created about 20 chances, we are having about 4 a game now, not nearly enough. Also, whilst Cudicini makes good saves, Gomes makes truly world class saves and is much taller then Cudicini. Everbody slated Petikosa because he came for one cross and missed it, he had no chance with the goals (2 pens) so its a bit harsh to say that is as bad as Gomes was when he joined, as he had an inexperienced back 4 in front of him and no protection from the midfield.

other teams have bad injuries at the back. arsenal have been playing kids at the back. if its true we only have 2 fit center backs then why loan out caulker.

we have a huge sqaud but the midfeild and strikers aint doing there job. if they was then our defence woulndt be under so much pressure.

harry has this thing about rushin players back from injury then playin them. we are lucky modric didnt get injurid again saturday.

every game bale has played left back we have lost

    ours

Gomes, Dawson, King, Gallas, Woodgate, Kaboul, Ekotto, Defoe

Corluka had two games out, Huttons just come back as had Modric, Bentley, Ohara's still out

Fabregas has played most of their games this season and their injuries are spread across all positions.

They have two international experienced centre backs, flanked by Sagna and Clichey, you cant compare
    Arsenals injuries with ours.

So Lought are you asking us to feel for arsenil ? Look at the teams played in the CC and tell me who was able to field the strongest side due to injuries ? 'arry trusted his kids and for 90 minutes we where in the game. It was only E/T that we fell apart in . . . ..

Whats last season got to do with it? with a proper back 4 we finished 4th.

The two guys that Wenger bought that are currently playing at centre back are Sebastien Squillaci and
Laurent Koscielny, Sagna at left back and Clichey at left back, they only have Vermalen out, just doesnt compare.

He did, but they only played Vela upfront, the Hammers had two and if Harrys sent him out on loan, then we have to trust his judgement, it worked last season. However and Lee Dixon pointed this out, why wasnt Bale on the post? Ekotto always stays on the post for corners and we maybe would have been talking about a draw, maybe Gomes directs his defenders into position and dominates his box better then Cudicini, boy are we missing him too, so come on Lought, cut Harry some slack, his lost a lot of key players and apart from the Arsenal game we are not getting thrashed, even then they had to bring on Arshavin and Chamakh to win it.

That's the idea of a squad of professional footballers Lought. They play where they're asked and do a job. 90 minutes we where in the game . . . . . .
