he covered loads of ground tonight, 11.6 km according to sky, luka when he went off only covered 9km, he put in a good shift for a change. the ball comes back off him and crouch too much but credit where its due, his penalties were cool as you like

He was pretty awful untill the penalty, I was starting to think he has developed a drug problem in the close season...
Apart from that goal V's YB he's been nothing like the Pav we know , but the penalty changed that.

He was transformed, held up the ball well, passed it well and took two good penaltys.
He sold the keeper on both, sent him the wrong way twice.

    Super Pav..

its Takes more strengh to score from the spot at the highest level than running a marathon , pav should be given more credit, hes played out the game most of the time simply because everyone has orders to find crouch in the 18 yard box, only thing wrong with that is it dont work all the time, pav is a better finisher , lets sack crouch & redknapp come to that super pav 348204

    From caughtoffside.com : 'arry knows best eh Lought . . . . . . .

Harry Redknapp is being linked with an audacious swap deal involving Russian international Roman Pavlyuchenko. The former Spartak Moscow man has struggled to force his way into a regular starting spot at White Hart Lane and has been strongly linked with a move back to his homeland and this has led to talk of an potential exchange deal that would see Brazilian striker Vagner Love move to North London.

After six years in Moscow Love is reportedly looking for a new challenge and has had loan spells at both Palmeiras and Flamengo in the past year and apparently Redknapp is thought be a big admirer of the pint sized 26 year old striker who has netted an impressive 97 goals for CSKA and helped them a myriad of honours including two domestic doubles and the UEFA Cup.

The Tottenham boss has not been happy with the lack of success in front of goal displayed by his strikers who between them have scored just one of the club’s Premier League goals this season. Any potential deal would probably involve Spurs having to supplement the deal with a small cash inducement.
